I-5 to 99W Connector Project Community Open House Hearing and Public Input Summary Report - August 2009
This document presents the key findings and themes reported through the open house hearing comment forms, oral testimony, online survey, project website, and community letters. The purpose of the community open house hearings and comment period was to present key findings from the Alternative Analysis Report (AAR), display summary evaluation criteria results, as well as gather input and feedback regarding the six project alternatives and preferred transportation solution elements. Public comments regarding the six project alternatives were received for approximately one month (public comment period June 24th through July 30th, 2008).

Environmental Reconnaissance Report and Existing Transportation Conditions Report- May 2006
The Environmental Reconnaisance Report describes the existing conditions in the study area. The report includes information about the social and natural environment in the study area including land use, socioeconomic conditions, cultural resources, biologic conditions, wetlands, water quality, geology and soils, air quality, visual and aesthetic resources and hazardous materials conditions.
The Existing Transportation Conditions Report utilizes the most recent transportation data available to describe the current conditions in the corridor. The report covers topics including study area, metholology, existing roadway conditions, safety, demand, transit, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and emergency response service.
These reports are available here for your review. They are large files, so the figures are posted separately from the text of the report but are intended to be reviewed along with the text of the report. If you would like a full copy of either report on CD, please call (503) 595-9915 or complete the email form.
